Little but Seen

 Salam.

Hope everyone is well.

With a lot of things happening at the moment, I am further convinced to act and spend my energy and time towards things that will benefit me grandly, not only for filling the voids or just because. In simpler term, if the act is not pleasing to my Lord, I can skip it. There is no point of spending my energy, time and money towards something so impermanent.

I feel humbled seeing the struggle of fellow Palest*nian people, appalled by impunity from the other side and I feel relief and hopeful that I live in a country with its people are mostly holding tight to humanity values. We are free to express our support that align with our values and practise our own faith without being ridiculed.

During one of the class that I have attended, the speaker shared that the reason our Lord made us able to witness all this cruelty is not to cause us weeping, sobbing and act nothing. Our Lord want to test us to see what kind of reflection we will have for our own fleeting life here, and what kind of action we will take to help, the effort that we will inspired to do in helping others and improve ourselves.

This reminds me that no act is too little for our Lord. Everything is seen and recorded.

Point A to Point B

 Salam.

I am back from Perlis. Perlis was surprisingly amazing, the place, the people, the food, the calmness. My 5 days stay there felt short, Insha Allah I will visit again to explore other places in Perlis.

Ramadhan will be here in a month. I am excited because I have planned a few improvements to make my Ramadhan better than before, based on what I have gathered and learned at this point of my life.

Obviously major overhaul is needed on some (many) of my habits and lifestyle. I have fallen out of love from a few of my favourite past times, because they no longer align with my priority now. Perhaps I was done exploring and now I am quite settled on which direction I am going to lead my life to, hence the attachments that weigh me down are ready to be left. It was tough and confusing at the beginning because maybe it was associated as part of my identity. But I am more aware now that I am accountable to my every decision and act, so detachment is really pivotal here.

May Allah ease everything for us. Amin YRA.
