Salam.

Hehe.

My birthday was yesterday, yesterday was my birthday. Had a little celebration and a bit of living on a cloud nine.

So this post is no other than about to remind the old me on how I celebrated my birthday.

I don't make any phone call, don't appear on virtual site and basically, I was avoiding any moves that will remind people that my birthday is coming. I am growing matured now right? Hehe

But comes 12 midnight, I can't hold myself any longer. Hahaha. I am just a normal humanbeing that enjoyed being remembered on my own birthday. So I replied every wishes, and seriously enjoying myself. So this is like being a celebrity for a day? Hahaha

I received sweet presents too. I don't know whether the person that give away the present comfortable with me saying my gratitude here, so I will just put their initial. Hahaha. Thanks CH roomate for the watch, NJ for the very sedap doughnuts, R & R (this one I am sure she won't mind I mention her here hehe) for the scarf, macaroons and Fullhouse. Fullhouse is awesome! I am in love with honeydew milk shake :)

Thanks NZ (for the sake of playing along, the initial is due to their facebook name) for the pizza and voucher hehe, SR&RH (Saf and Remy, your name combination seems like a good brand name), NH for getting up from bed on your MC day, NJ for blushing along during the long humiliating yet sweet and memorable happy birthday song and RIR for recording the video of us being chaotic in there. :P

Sweet and warm wishes that came all along. Thank you everyone. Without your wishes, a day that marks me getting a year older will not be as fun as this. Thank you! :)

Clover

Salam.

So Saturday comes again. Blessed with good food for the past 4 days and I was stuffed with lunch worth RM 68 each. Alhamdulillah.

Friends and me are going to Cherating next week (to reward ourselves for been behave) and a trip to Thailand the following week. My bestfriend since UTP time is getting married. Alhamdulillah. And will be having my second run right after. Hope we can finish this run. I am not going to lie here, I am not fit to finish a full marathon. Pretty sad but what to do. Quarter length will do at the moment.

Today I watch How I Met Your Mother. This is the only series I won't do the fast forward. (and House, Gossip Girl, Running Man and Chuck too). So yeah, I missed a lot actually. There were moment I was too engrossed and cried a bit. I always imagine myself as Robin because Robin is tough and funny ( and I perasan I am too), so things get a bit emotional. After all, better cry over a movie instead of reality.

I am the yellow Power Rangers too. Because yellow one is a lot tougher than the another in pink and I am as usual, perasan that I am tough, that is the only reason.

I bought books too, for half price. Awesome right? Rose bought one as well, she is currently struggling hard to instill reading into her life. Hahaha.

Have good weekend! :)

P/s: the only reason this image come after is because I don't know how to arrange them.

Kuda Perang

Salam.

I watch War Horse today (impromptu as usual) and seriously, this is the best movie for 2012.

Okay, as I am in the mood to tell tale, let me brief you a bit of my day. I accompanied Nita in searching for 'a property' and en route there, we stuck in the heavily congested traffic. And to make matter worse, the weather was so humid we have to manually wind ourselves. Imagine sauna, at noon, in an unmoving car under KL sun for almost an hour. Later we figured that the traffic was because of an accident and instantly felt grateful as we were only stuck and drenched with sweat in the car, not the one laying covered with blood on the road.

And then, War Horse. This movie was beautifully plotted and I guarantee you will instantly fall in love with Joey. Joey is the horse. There are too many good things I want to share about this movie. Steven Spielberg didn't give me any of his moolah for me to write this fyi.

The war was disturbing, and disturbing is understatement for a war. I know my knowledge about war is shallow, but this movie opened my eyes and showed very clearly on how bad the effect of a war could be. To think of been bitten by an ant is agonizing enough, imagine been bombarded with cannon. Joey done the plowing for one whole night and seeing my sleeping pattern (that is always excessive), sheepishness it is.

It was about war, father and son, mother and son, a wife's perseverance, boy with its pet horse, horse bromance with another horse, grandfather and granddaughter, elder brother to younger one, arrogant landlord that lose at the end (serve your right) and last but not least loyalty.

And most of the time if I were not too busy shedding tears (but the sobbing was much louder from my left side, oh I forgot Nita was the only one sitting on my left. I think that explains hahaha), I was in awe of the vivid scenery in this movie. They sure spent a fortune hiring the soldiers and horses.

War Horse is a tearjerking movie. Don't watch with your girlfriend if you were a guy. I've warned you.

Do watch this movie. :)

Eat to Live

Salam.

So Saturday again. One of my obsession is Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. You may laugh now but yup, I think I am the one who's shedding tears if they married or break up. When it comes to this pair, I am no different than an obsessed child over a cute pencilbox.

I want to talk about food. I don't like eating friend's cooking. I prefer I am the cook, not because of my cooking skills or their cooking skills, but I don't like being the one who just wait and do nothing. I know I will sound like a selfish here, haha, but I will stop eat when someone 'steal' something from my plate and continue eating after the stealing process end. Too many hands over a plate, I found chaotic. Selfish right? But that is the truth.

I don't like the idea of tasting every different food to. I am no food adventurers. I ate food that I prefer and neglect the one I didn't favor. But that doesn't change the fact that I eat a lot. Haha

And I don't prefer having meals in a noisy place. It is not that I want my eatery with romantic sappy song, but I think small talk is just enough. No loud music and screaming.

I like veggie but I don't like eating fruits. Some friends called me kambing.

Okay, that was one boring post about food and me. Bye!

Leaves was Once not Green

Salam.

Last few days, I decide to not going back for this long weekend because I was sick being in a journey for 10 hours. During CNY, I was stranded in the bus, 20 hours back and forth. And my makcik's bone were all ache the next day. I forgot to consume any panadol or drugs that will help to sleep, so I was wide awake. Very wide awake I can feel the tyre was crushing a small stone. So as my little protest, I decide to stay and not going back.

I was gleely happy not doing anything. Until last night, bit by bit of boredom creeps in. Fortunately, Syara invite me to her sister's reception and I agreed to go without having any second thought.

So off we went to see beautiful bride and groom. It was a joyous event. :) ( we ate a lot! Okay not we, me myself. hahaha)

Enlightened

Salam.

I was once involved with this and would like to regain back its hype.

So for anything to ask, I am back playing this game of Formspring, or you can see it at my sidebar.

Bye and have a good long holiday.

P/s : Having good laugh reading the past question and my answers. I did less thinking back then, obviously.
