Our Favourite Month

I am on the way home with my brother driving us. I stopped reading when I realized it was too dark and I no longer can depend on sun for some light to read. I am grateful that I can read in a moving shelter, be it in train or car.

Lately there has been a significant change in my life. I'd move to a new place, this new rented room was painted all black and I am of course not okay with this. I promised myself to paint this room blue or yellow or plain white some time in the future. I am no longer in my darkest time to have my four walls in black. Unlike my previous room, in this new room I am able to tell whether it is morning or noon or night.

I love travelling. I love how travel is an escapism of mundane and obligatory. But I have problem to commit. I had enough committing to work, family duties, friend duties.

My 8 hours away home. My 8 hours away parent.

But this is of course part and parcel of life.

And, Ramadhan is here again. Muslim's favourite month. May this year will be better than before. In sha Allah. :)
