Salam.
I don’t know if this is a trait of maturity or what, but I am totally no longer interested in explaining what I feel when I disagree with someone. Good thing about cutting the story short is there will be no drama ensued and no energy wasted. Bad thing is I will forever not mastering the art of communicating and people will assume I am okay with everything although I am not, most of the times I will overthink about it and on some ‘lucky’ days, cry in my bed reasoning why I deserve this treatment or harsh words.
While I am still figuring out on how to confront this, I hope and wish for everyone to be careful with words used, it may appear as a joke but it impact people bad, so bad that a person might just give up living but she knows she can’t give up because first and foremost she is Muslim and nothing can be done about that, secondly isn’t that is an act of bully? Would you be okay if someone dear to you being bullied? Would you be okay knowing people feel this way just because of your passing remarks or bad jokes?
Do you think having and sharing this kind of thought make the person weak?
If yes, please don’t pity the person. It just make the person feel worse. Just pretend that you don’t know and don’t care but still be careful with your words. #noharshwordsmovement
If no, you are truly MVP! 🌟
